Every other family app is built around the parent's problem: compliance, accountability, proof. Munus is built around a different premise. A teenager who chooses to contribute is building themselves. A teenager who is commanded to comply is just serving time.

Photo verification exists so the teen can show their work - not so the parent can inspect it. Every line of copy frames it that way. The interface does not generate evidence for parent-child conflict. It generates shared language for a shared household.

Gamification extrinsifies intrinsic tasks. Munus does the opposite - it internalizes external obligations by giving them identity, ownership, and meaning. No confetti, no streaks, no badges, no sound effects. The reward for completing a munus is the rest of the day, unencumbered.
